INYGMA MP Chapter Achieves Historic Milestone: Yoga & Naturopathy Committee Formed under AYUSH

The INYGMA Madhya Pradesh Chapter has achieved a historic milestone with the official formation of the Yoga & Naturopathy Committee under the Department of AYUSH, Madhya Pradesh. This landmark development marks the first formal step towards strengthening naturopathy and yoga as integral components of holistic healthcare in the state.

The achievement is the outcome of sustained efforts and collective dedication of the MP Chapter members, led by Prof. (Dr.) Ankesh Singh, President, and Dr. Ayush Maheshwari, General Secretary. They were strongly supported by Vice Presidents Dr. Hirdesh Bharti, Dr. Akash Bisone, Dr. Vakeel Khan, and Dr. Saraswati Tewani, who played key roles in steering the initiative forward.

Acknowledging the team’s contribution, the chapter extended special Thanks to Dr. Jyoti Keswani (Student Coordinator) and Dr. Jaideep Bisen (Treasurer) for their extraordinary commitment beyond their primary responsibilities. also extend heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Vaibhav Choudhary and his team – Dr. Kajal, Dr. Lata, Dr. Sunil, and Dr. Sahiba – were recognized for significantly enhancing the chapter’s outreach and visibility on social media platforms.

On 13th August 2025, a meeting with the Commissioner of AYUSH, Madhya Pradesh, paved the way for the committee’s establishment – a move expected to bolster both policy and practice in the field of Naturopathy and yoga. The technical details of the development were formally announced the next day, 14th August 2025, during an online Google Meet attended by Naturopathy and yoga graduates from across the state.

Leaders of the MP Chapter described the event as “a first milestone in a much larger journey”. They emphasized that the committee will actively work towards enhancing the recognition, application, and integration of yoga and naturopathy for community well-being.

“This is just the beginning. With unity and commitment, we aim to achieve many more milestones and elevate naturopathy and yoga to new heights,” said Prof. (Dr.) Ankesh Singh.

With this first step, INYGMA MP Chapter has set the momentum for further advancements in promoting sustainable, nature-based healing practices under the state’s AYUSH framework.
