INYGMA MP Chapter Leaders Meet Hon’ble Forest Minister Shri Dilip Ahirwar to Advocate for Naturopathy in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: A special delegation from the “Indian Naturopathy and Yoga Graduates Medical Association” (INYGMA), Madhya Pradesh Chapter, visited Hon’ble Shri Dilip Ahirwar. He is the Minister of State for Forests in the Government of Madhya Pradesh. They discussed the growing importance of Naturopathy and Yoga-based healthcare systems in the state.

The delegation was led by Prof. (Dr.) Ankesh Singh, President, and Dr. Ayush Maheshwari, General Secretary of the INYGMA MP Chapter. The team provided a brief yet impactful presentation on the scientific foundation, preventive potential, and community health benefits of naturopathy.

They highlighted the relevance of Naturopathy in addressing – lifestyle-related disorders, promoting mental and physical well-being, and aligning healthcare with eco-conscious and sustainable practices. The delegation emphasized the need for wider state-level support and integration of naturopathy in public health and wellness models.

Hon’ble Minister Shri Dilip Ahirwar appreciated the insights shared. He expressed his interest in exploring ways to promote traditional systems of medicine. These systems are rooted in nature and community health.

The meeting marked a significant step towards collaborative efforts for a healthier, nature-integrated Madhya Pradesh.
